Commercial & property services
Commercial chimney services for Denver properties.
Inspection, sweeping, repair, relining and draft fans for landlords, property managers, HOAs, restaurants and businesses across Denver and the Front Range.
A commercial chimney is a different job.
A single home fireplace is one flue. A commercial property is rarely that simple: shared and multi-story flues, restaurant appliances that run all day, rooftop systems that need real access equipment, and a stack of code, insurance and tenant-safety obligations riding on top. Most chimney companies are set up for one homeowner and one fireplace. Adam Chimney Sweep also does the work that comes with managing property, and we keep the documentation straight so you can prove it was done right.
Whether you own a handful of rentals, manage hundreds of doors, or run a restaurant with a wood-fired hearth, you get one local crew that has worked the Front Range since 2001, treats every chimney like our own, and answers the phone when you call.

Learn moreCommercial chimney inspection & compliance
For a commercial property, an inspection is not just maintenance, it is your paper trail. Our certified technicians run a camera-assisted, NFPA 211 inspection of every flue, from a single rooftop stack to a building full of shared systems, checking the cap, crown, flashing, liner, damper, smoke chamber and masonry. You get a written, photo-backed report that stands up with insurers, buyers and code officials.
That documentation matters most at two moments: when a property changes hands and a Level 2 inspection is required, and when an insurer or HOA board asks you to prove the systems are safe. We make both painless, and we flag what is a watch item versus a call-now item so you can budget instead of scramble.
Sweeping, masonry & keeping it standing
High-use commercial flues build creosote fast, and glazed creosote is the fuel real chimney fires are made of. Our commercial sweeping removes soot, blockage and heavy buildup from wood, gas and pellet systems with containment that keeps the mess out of your tenants and customers.
Above the roofline, Colorado weather is hard on tall masonry. Freeze-thaw works water into a hairline crack and pries it wider every winter, and at altitude the sun and hail finish the job. We handle tuckpointing, spalled-brick replacement, crown rebuilds and waterproofing so a small repair now does not become a structural one later. And when an older system has lost its draft, a properly sized stainless reline brings it back to safe, efficient and in code.

Built for Colorado code & climate
Commercial chimney work on the Front Range has to answer to two bosses: the code book and the weather. We service and document to NFPA 211, the national standard for chimneys and venting, and we know the Denver-area permit and air-quality rules that apply when a system is modified. For boards and managers, that means inspections that satisfy your governing documents and an HOA standard cap or chase cover that actually fits the building.
Then there is altitude. Thinner air changes how appliances draft, freeze-thaw cycles punish masonry, and snow load and hail wear out caps and flashing faster than they do at sea level. We design every repair, cap and draft fix for the conditions your building actually faces, not a generic checklist.
What commercial chimney service costs
There is no flat rate, because no two commercial systems are alike. The honest answer is that price tracks four things: how many flues you have, how tall the system is and how hard it is to reach, the fuel type and how heavily it is used, and the scope of any repairs that turn up. A single rooftop inspection is modest; a multi-flue building that needs masonry and a reline is a bigger project.
What never changes is how we quote it: a walkthrough first, then one written number before any work starts, with no hidden fees and no scare tactics. Many managers put us on an annual plan so the budget is predictable and the inspections never lapse. See our pricing overview or just call for a commercial quote.

Commercial chimney FAQ
How often should a commercial chimney be inspected and swept?
Industry standard, set by NFPA 211, is a professional inspection at least once a year for every flue. Sweeping frequency depends on use: a busy restaurant hearth or a heavily used multi-unit system can need cleaning several times a year, while a lightly used office fireplace may only need it annually. We will recommend a realistic schedule for each property.
Do you provide certificates of insurance and written reports?
Yes. We carry full liability insurance and are bonded, and we can provide a certificate of insurance on request before we step on site. Every inspection comes with a written, photo-backed report you can hand to an owner, board, insurer or buyer.
Can you service a whole portfolio or multiple units in one visit?
That is exactly what we are built for. We coordinate access, plan routes between buildings, and handle dozens of units in a single mobilization so you get one schedule, one point of contact and one consolidated invoice.
Do you work on restaurant and commercial fireplace chimneys?
Yes. We service the chimneys and flues for wood-fired ovens, grills, gas appliances and commercial fireplaces, including the heavy creosote that builds up in high-use hearths. We focus on the chimney and venting side of the system.
How much does commercial chimney service cost?
It depends on the number of flues, the height and roof access, the fuel type and the scope of any repairs. A single rooftop inspection is modest; a multi-flue building with masonry work is more. Because every property is different, we quote each job after a walkthrough, in writing, with no hidden fees.
Do you handle multi-flue, multi-story and rooftop chimney systems?
Yes. Tall stacks, shared flues and rooftop systems are a core part of our commercial work, and we bring the access equipment and experience to inspect and service them safely.
